Things I’ve Saved: 01

Style

April 15, 2022

Although we are officially into spring, in reality we’re living in that crossover period (at least where I am!). With snow currently on the ground outside my studio window, I’m dreaming of warm weather but still enjoying the last bits of the cozy inside season. However, we’ve had a few warm, sunny days and it’s had me planning and saving some favourite warm weather closet additions. I definitely prefer a quality over quantity approach to my closet, and I like to save up for and invest in special pieces that I will have and love for a while. Here are some pieces I have my eye on these days, and a few I’ve already added to my life!

A.P.C. Small Grace Shoulder Bag

I love every version of the Grace bag and I’ve had my mind set on adding one to my collection for a while. They remind me of the Celine bag that I love, but they’re easier on the wallet. This green version is so timeless and I think would be perfect year-round.

Louis Abel Ring

The sculptural statement shape of this ring is so lovely. I’ve had the tab open for ages and am definitely considering adding this one to the collection.

Loeffler Randall Blaise Sandal

Some of my favourite shoes have come from LR and I look to them each season for something fresh and fun but still timeless. I love the idea of these chunky raffia sandals teamed with a summer-y short suit or a linen dress.

A.P.C Willow Card Holder

This style of wallet has been my favourite for a while and Levin got me this chic black version for Christmas.

Merit Lipstick

I’ve been using mostly Merit products for a while now. They recently launched this new lipstick line and I ordered Slip the other day. It’s a great light brown that gives minimal 90s vibes that I love. I’m planning to try Baby and Millennial next.

Reformation Linen Dress

This dress is warm-weather perfection in my books. The square neck, easy fit, and fabric buttons caught my attention. This one would look great with both a chunky sandal or a really minimal black sandal, gold earrings, and tousled hair.

Everlane Cotton Cardigan

I’ve had my eye on this cardigan for so long and I finally ordered it a month or so ago. It lives up to all of the positive reviews and this green colour is really beautiful. The fit is lovely and so far it seems like great quality (and I’ve worn it practically every second day since it arrived). It’s a perfect layer for this time of year and I’m looking forward to wearing it with denim shorts and sandals for evening walks soon.

J.Crew Cat Eye Sunglasses

This shape of frames is one of my favourites at the moment and the J.Crew version ticks all the boxes.

Pottery Barn Scalloped Planter

I love a terracotta planter with special details. This one comes in three sizes and I picked up one of the larger ones recently. For now it’s inside but I think I’d like to add to my collection for our patio as well.
